Baby Moses 2010 - 2011

Precious MET Family...

It is with great sadness this morning that I am sharing with The MET family the passing of Baby Moses. It is apparent that Baby Moses had a form of meningitis, and after receiving breathing treatments at the local hospital, it continued to worsen. This Christmas Eve morning, he went from our Mashah Children’s Village to an eternal home in Heaven with our Father.

What an amazing thought that our Baby Moses’ malnourished and neglected little body has been made wholly new, and that, even now, he is being held in the arms of the One whose birth we will celebrate tomorrow morning. Please pray for Pastor Mathias and Mama Mercy as they mourn and lay Moses’ body to rest in a service on our property in Wakisi.

I have reposted the video of how Baby Moses came to be the first child to find his home at Mashah below. As you will see, God gave us this boy as the face of the lost, hungry, and hurting in Jinja. Although our time with Moses was short, God used His sweet life to be a catalyst and an inspiration for so many of you to support this great work. Hundreds of children will find a home and receive food, love, and most importantly Christ Jesus because of Moses.

Truly Baby Moses was one of the “least of these” of whom Jesus spoke, and I am more committed than ever to seeing our Mission around the world continue to change lives for eternity. I love being your Pastor.

Thankful for Jesus,

Pastor Sal
