Big Give In-Gathering


This coming Sunday, December 14th is the Big Give In-Gathering at The MET. Over the past several weeks, members, attenders and friends of The MET have been challenged to:

  • Pray about the ways we can participate in the Big Give
  • Fill a Big Give bag with a sacrificial offering
  • Return the Big Give bag with our sacrificial offering and commitment card
  • Serve in a mission endeavor (Global, National, Community, Multisite) in 2009.

This Sunday will be an incredible time of worship as Pastor Sal interviews a number of our Mission partners in worship Sunday morning at 8:15, 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.

Be sure to bring your Big Give bag, In Gathering Offering, and Commitment Card (you may print and bring a commitment card if one is needed. Additional cards will be available Sunday).

Great Series! I believe we need to talk more about our money because that really does reflect where our heart is on a daily basis. When we tithe we are put in a position by God to "try God" so he can prove to us he really can meet our needs. We are "forced" to look at our spending and decide what is really important to our family and our nation. As long as we don't tithe we are still putting our trust in ourselves. Our "God suit" is much too small. God Bless, DO
