1 Corinthians 9:19-23
Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To
the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I
became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law),
so as to win those under the law. To
those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I
am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win
those not having the law. To
the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to
all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
Only 1.5% of Native Americans in Montana are even willing to attend church. The MET takes a unique strategy to connect these Native Americans to the real Jesus by participating in eight powwows. By serving over 37,000 Native Americans participating in the powwows each year, The MET models unselfish service and demonstrates Christ's love for them. Through this unexpected behavior of those serving the gospel of Jesus Christ is shared time and time again.
John 13:13-15
"You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.
