Fourteen years ago, LuAnn and I stepped out to plant a new work in Metro Manila! We were nervous and excited all at the same time. We began with one small group of 8 people. After a month I said to the group, one day we will fill an auditorium Well, on Monday, November 17, 270 small group leaders gathered for our annual leaders celebration! They are all the small group leaders who have been added to our church and daughter churches around Metro Manila! God is good! Numbered among the leaders were some trophies of God's grace. Francis - saved from a life of homosexuality, Jun & Christian - saved out of a gang, Sonny - former gang member and drug user, Maricel - former lesbian, and many other great stories! Got a little emotional after seeing all the leaders worshiping a living God together, embracing a vision to change the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
